Our Purpose
UndocuEducation is a website with the mission to empower undocumented immigrants by providing practical advice and resources to support their educational journeys and life beyond school. Through a community-driven approach, we gather insights from undocumented immigrants and allies dedicated to uplifting and advocating for this community. Together, we aim to create a space where knowledge is shared, challenges are addressed, and opportunities are discovered, fostering growth, resilience, and success for all.
Undocumented Immigrants
Undocumented immigrants are immigrants who reside in the United States without legal status. This encompasses individuals in the following situations:

Entered Without Inspection (EWI):
Individuals who entered the U.S. without undergoing inspection at an official checkpoint or obtaining permission to enter. -
Overstayed Legal Entry:
Individuals who entered the U.S. with legal status (e.g., a visitor visa) but remained in the country after their authorized period of stay ended, as indicated on their I-94 or visa expiration date.​ -
In the Process of Legalization:
Individuals actively pursuing legal status (e.g., through a U.S. citizen spouse petition, asylum claim, or U-visa application) but who currently lack legal status.​
