Children’s Health Insurance Program (DC Immigrant Children's Program)
Health insurance plan for children under 20 who don't qualify for Medicaid, essentially providing low-cost or free healthcare coverage depending on family income
Eligibility: Children under 20 years old

Prenatal Care Assistance Program
Healthcare provider program designed to provide low-income pregnant women with access to affordable or free prenatal medical care
Services: Routine checkups, lab tests, specialist consultations, and delivery services
Eligibility: Typically based on income level, falling below a certain percentage of the federal poverty line.
Health Care Alliance for Adults (Starting October 1, 2025)
The Health Care Alliance (“Alliance”) Program is a locally-funded program designed to provide medical assistance to District residents who are not eligible for Medicaid. The Alliance program serves low-income adults who have no other health insurance and are not eligible for Medicare.
Eligibility: Aged 21 to 25, district of columbia resident, have income at or below 138% of the federal poverty level (“FPL”), have no other health insurance, including Medicare
Emergency Medicaid
Emergency Medicaid (EM) is a program that provides medical coverage for uninsured individuals who have experienced a medical emergency. It's available to people who don't qualify for Medicaid due to their immigration status.
Services: Medical care and services for serious health issues that require immediate medical attention. Conditions like heart attacks, severe pain, and labor and delivery
